The Haunts are out!

This years "wall to wall creeps" are up and just in the nick of time. Saturday is Halloween for goodness sakes! I really don't know what was wrong with me this year, but rest assured I am now fully in the Halloween spirit! I have to admit, now that the house is decorated...it's a titch bit creepy staying up late on the computer. My one and only decorating purchase this year is an old picture of a civil war soldier. You know those cool pictures that as you walk by the image slowly changes into something creepy...it's creepy...especially at night...when the house is deathly still!:)Enjoy! Happy Halloween everyone!!!

But first. A picture of the kids with Tom-Tom the cat.(I really wanted to get some of that black hairspray and turn him into a black cat for Halloween. What do you think? Bad to put on cats? He'd probably freak out anyways, but it would be pretty cool!) Don't you love how Luke is goin' skins. :) It was sorta-kinda warm today so he ran around like that for part of afternoon. Probably our last warm day, tomorrow it might SNOW?!

Luke's first day of preschool!

Annual Labor Day Barker Boat Fest! We all had a blast! Enjoyed some nice weather (thankfully :)), good food, relaxation, a little fishing (Luke's favorite), a lot of tubing!!!, crusin' on the boat (Ava's favorite, "Faster Rice King! Go faster!"), and tons of fun with the fam! Thanks sooo much Domma Barkers and Rice!

All Avie wanted to do was cruise fast in the boat. She loved the wind blowing in her face and after we wrapped her up in a blanket (because she was covered in goosebumps) she fell fast asleep...sitting up.


Luke & Ava got the last tube ride of the day...just the two of them! They enjoyed every minute of it!

We just love her so much. She is a sweetheart. Her big cheeser grin just makes you happy.

At three she is in love with horses, kitties, dogs, babies, bugs."Wookie" (Luke), Uncle "Stotty", "Katewyn", "Yaura" (Laura), oooh baby Thomas, her grandparents, Emmy, anything pink, chocolate, princesses, pirates, loves to draw, sing, play in the dirt, dance (wow...the dancing!?!), and do eeeverything by "myself".

Wonderful Magical Disneyland Fun!!!

So I am finally getting around to putting our Disneyland trip on here. We had the most wonderful time! Today while I was picking out some of the maaany pictures to post :) Luke sat down on my lap and started looking at them with me. He would laugh at some, and say "ooh, yeah, that was so cool, 'member that!" to others. Then he just got up and walked away and said, "Mom, I can't look at those pictures anymore, they're making me kinda sad." Cute little Bones. It is kind of sad to look back at good times when life was only about having fun. But I don't think it would be quite as fun if that was all we did all the time....well...maybe it would still be just a little bit fun. :) Thanks Papa John and Domma Patsies! We had the time of our lives! Let's do it again...soon.

We drove to Vegas and stayed at the awesome Stratosphere. We got a free pass to go up to the top and look out at the amazing view!

The next day we drove to the beach. Had a great time!

Later that night we met up with everyone at the Rainforest Cafe for Jeremy's Birthday dinner.

And then in the morning..... YOU GUYS READY TO GO TO DISNEYLAND!!!

Of course that was right after scarfing down breakfast.
