Birthday Bones

Our Mr. Bones is such a big boy! He is now 4 and ready for school, ready to go to work, ready to drive a motorcycle and fly a helicopter, oh and ready to take off his training wheels.

What would we do with out our Luke? He always keeps us so entertained with his very serious stories and questions. If you haven't had the opportunity to see this kids eye lashes then you are missing out, we call them his "giraffe" lashes. When he really gets into explaining something to you his head tilts to the side and those lashes start blinkin' away, it is the cutest thing.

There are so many cute stories about him, but I'll try to keep this short. So here are just a couple to hopefully give you a good laugh. My favorite was when we were at the park and I was watching as a little girl walked over to Luke. I could hear her tell him her name and then she asked him what his was. I could barely make out his low serious voice answer "Mr. Bones." The little girl stared at him for a few seconds and with out saying another word ran off to go play some where else. Poor little thing, I think we've ruined him.

One thing for sure about Luke, he loooves his Dad. He wants to be just like Jeremy. A couple weeks ago Luke came into the kitchen with his backpack on. And of course in his most serious low voice he informs me that:"Well mom, I'm goin' to work. Yep, my boss just called and I've gotta go move some trailers and go pick up some cookies and juice and cricuts from Draper. So, well bye mom, I love you." And I get a kiss. Jeremy drives truck and those are usually the kinds of things he delivers.

He always amazes me by the things he knows and the questions he asks and he is such a sweetheart. I miss that all the dandelions are dead now because every time he saw one he dropped what ever he was doing to pick it for me and I always got a kiss along with it.

We love you so much Luke, Happy Birthday! Here's a quick 4 year trip down memory lane:

Annie, he is soooo handsome. You will have problems with the girls calling the house all the time, I'm sure of that.
